Your body runs at a certain temperature, around 37 degree Celsius (about 98.6 Fahrenheit). When you drink ice-cold water, the body needs to heat it up fast. To do this, it needs to burn energy (calories). According to the 7 Minute Diet, drinking 64 Oz of water each day can burn 70 extra calories for a total of 490 calories each week. And you don’t need to lift a dumbbell or do a single crunch. Just drink you water cold.
Exposed Switch #2 - Chew Sugar Free Gum
This ingenious little tip may help you burn and save 174 calories. I have to say that I was surprised when I first read about this but it makes a lot of sense.
Chewing gum between meals can help you lose weight in 2 ways:
- The chewing actually burns a little extra calories (which can add up if you do this often).
- Chewing gum between meals can help you avoid eating high calorie food. You don’t want to overeat between meals as this will simply mean more calories that you need to burn. This tip keeps you from doing that.
To burn as many as 174 calories you do need to chew gum for 2 hours in total each day. The best thing is to make this a habit between meals. You should chew a sugar free gum so it will also be low in calories.
Exposed Switch #3 – Eggs
One of nature’s most awesome super foods, eggs, can also help you to lose weight fast. According to research, eating 2 eggs for breakfast can help you burn and save a total of 143-400 calories each day.
Eggs are an excellent source of lean protein. They help you keep full so you eat less calories during your day. In addition, the protein in eggs can give you a metabolism boost. Eggs also contain healthy amino acids which help to prevent muscle breakdown, another important metabolic boost.
