The 31 Day Fat Loss Cure by Vic Magary is a fitness and nutrition plan that I’ve recently heard about. This program has become very popular and I wanted to see for myself whether this popularity indicated that the program actually works.
I got a copy of the 31 Day Fat Loss Cure and immediately went through it to see what this program is really like. In this review I’m going to share what I discovered and share a few things about this program that I think are unique.
If you’ve been thinking about getting this program and you’re wondering whether it’s right for you, read this review and make an informed decision…
Who is Vic Magary?
Vig Magary, the creator of the 31 Day Fat Loss Cure is a former soldier and a fitness trainer who has worked with many clients, men and women, of various ages and helped them to burn body fat through a change in their nutrition habits and with intense training. I’ve read some of the testimonials of his program and I was very impressed with them. People do get results with the workouts that Vic Magary is teaching in this plan.
Magary is a no-nonsense kind of guy. This is evident from his writing. This isn’t a trainer which believes in half-measures or trying to find a way to make his program and methods appealing to everyone. If you’re not ready to train hard according to his program then it’s not for you.
That being said, it’s easy to see that Magary knows his material and presents each workout clearly, in text and videos. The nutritional guidelines he presents are also simple and crystal clear.
My point is that this guy can deliver results. Now, let’s see what his program has to offer you and whether you should use it…
What is the 31 Day Fat Loss Cure?
This program contains 5 workout plans, each of which lasts for 31 days. The 5 workout programs are divided according to your current fitness level and into gym workouts or bodyweight exercise plans. Here are the 5 workout plans:
- A special plan for people in their 60′s and beyond or for those who have some sort of injury that prevents them from doing the regular programs. I love the fact that Vic Magary created this plan as too many fitness plans disregard seniors or those with injuries.
- Bodyweight workout routine for beginners.
- Gym workouts for beginners.
- Bodyweight routine for advanced trainees (for people who are already fit and only have a few last pounds to burn).
- Gym workouts for advanced (the most intense plan of the 5 in the program).
In addition to the workout plans, there’s also a 2 week warm-up program for people who haven’t worked out for a long time and are out of shape. This will get your body ready for the more intense workout plans.
The workouts in the 31 Day Fat Loss Cure are all short but intense. They focus on compound strength exercises done with little rest between them. Vic Magary has revealed that when he was in the army he discovered 15 minute workouts that are more effective than the traditional 45 minute jog. I totally agree. I also focus my time on doing short workouts and it works. These types of workout burn lots of calories and also boost your metabolism for up to 36 hours after the workout for added calorie burn.
All the exercises in this program are shown in video to help you maintain proper form. The bodyweight workouts can be done at home so even if you don’t have any gym membership you can do this program.
The results of these workouts speak for themselves. Some 31 Day Fat Loss Cure testimonials show how people lose 20 pounds or more with this plan in a relatively short time. Expect some hard work but it does pay off if you’re determined to follow through the program for 31 days.
If you start with the beginner’s program you can move on to the advanced. The program also includes guidelines on what to do once the 31 days are up to maintain your new weight loss.
The nutritional guidelines in the 31 Day Fat Loss Cure are pretty straightforward: Vic Magary believes that you should eat food that our ancestors in primal times could eat. This means that animal protein, fruit, vegetables, nuts and seeds are all great nutritional sources and you can eat them to your heart’s content. The program does not advocate calorie counting nor portion control.
Processed foods are forbidden and so is alcohol (for the 31 days). Magary makes the case (and he’s not the only expert who does so) that our body wasn’t meant to eat processed foods. This includes whole wheat bread and pasta, both of which he includes as processed food. This may seem surprising but I know of at least two other acclaimed experts who agree with him on this issue.
You have a lot of freedom on this plan. You don’t need to starve yourself or cut down calories. The workouts burn enough.
The 31 Day Fat Loss Cure is an extensive and effective fat loss program for people who are ready to invest a little time and a lot of effort into their workouts, to turn their body into a more effective fat burning machine. I like this program as it’s simple, straightforward and to the point. The workouts are indeed effective and you can have a lot of fun with them.
If you’re looking for a way to lose weight in a month (and one day) then try this program out.
