It is a program to eliminate certain food additives and salicylates to avoid sensitivity/reactions. While the Program is known for the use in treating ADHD, it was developed many years ago for the treatment of allergies such as hives. Forethought in planning meals is encouraged but the Program is a healthy one, allows restaurant and fast food and is definitely not difficult. Note your typo in the title of Dr. Feingold's cookbook.
