Not every new version of a program deserves a new review, and I’ve already reviewed the Final Phase Fat Loss program in the past.
However, this upcoming release of Final Phase Fat Loss 2.0 by John Romaniello has given me the chance to create a FAQ page for this intriguing program which is something I’ve wanted to do for a while. This is a plan which is unlike most other, more general fitness plan because it has different goals and concepts.
This is a questions and answers page where I answer important questions you may have about this plan. I often find that answering questions gives people better insight than a boring review of a program. So, let’s see what these questions and answers are:
Final Phase Fat Loss 2.0 FAQ
Question: What is Final Phase Fat Loss 2.0?
Answer: FPFL 2.0 is a workout program designed by John Romaniello, a personal trainer from NYC. This is a workout plan that you need to follow for a number of weeks in order to burn stubborn body fat.
Question: So this is a weight loss plan?
Answer: In a sense, every fat loss program is. However, Final Phase Fat Loss 2.0 is about specific kinds of fat loss, the most challenging kinds. Basically, the program is designed to help people who fall into one of the following 3 groups:
- They hit a weight loss plateau and they just can’t seem to continue losing weight.
- They just have a few more pounds to lose and their current workout routine isn’t getting the job done.
- They have ”problem area” fat storage in their abs, thighs, back, or love handles.
Question: How does this program work?
Answer: FPFL 2.0 is a workout plan that includes 4 workouts each week. The idea is that to burn off the hardest fat, you need to really push your body hard. This is why you do a variety of workouts, with different exercise methods, to transform your current routine and to get the results that have eluded you.
The workouts are made up of strength exercises that are done in a pre-determined sequence. There is very litte cardio involved. In addition, there is also a nutrition component to the plan.
Question: You talk about “problem aree” fat. I thought that spot reduction is impossible.
Answer: It’s true that if you do a bicep curl, you don’t burn fat from your bicep. You burn it from all over your body.
However, this isn’t how John Romaniello handles problem area fat. He does it by manipulating hormones in your body. What he has found through his researh and experience is that certain hormones lead to more fat storage in various body parts. For instance, Cortisol leads to more belly fat and estrogen to more lower body fat. You need to negate the effect of these hormones to reduce the fat in those trouble spots.
This can be done, to a certain extent, through better nutrition and specific workout routines (the 4 methods in the program). .
Question: How effective is all this hormone manipulation?
Answer: The results will differ from one person to the next, as they always do. The main part of Final Phase Fat Loss 2.0 is to simply burn more and more body fat. Hormonal manipulation is just a part of it. However, this program has some impressive testimonials.
Question: What’s the difference between Final Phase Fat Loss 2.0 and the original version?
Answer: The concept is the same, but the new version includes 2 new workouts, new expanded nutritional guidelines, and other additions based on the feedback John Romaniello got from the people who’ve used the first version. It should be noted that the original version is no longer available.
Question: Do I really need to do these advanced workouts? Can’t I just stick to my current fitness plan?
Answer: Final Phase Fat Loss is not the only good program in the world and if you’re happy with what you’re currently using stick to it. In a way, FPFL is what people move on to when they “graduate” from earlier fitness plans. However, it is a completely personal choice that you need to make.
Question: What are the cons of this program?
Answer: This is a personal preference, but I believe that cardio should play a bigger role in a workout routine. FPFL 2.0 is mostly a strength training program. However, this is my opinion and some experts disagree with me.
Question: It seems like a lot of hard work. How do I know if I’m up for it?
Answer: It’s true that the workouts in this program are tough. There’s no doubt about it. You need to decide whether you’re ready for such an effort.
Question: What do I need to do the workouts?
Answer: Either a gym membership or dumbbells. You may be able to workout at home with some variations, but I believe a gym membership will give you more options.
Question: Do you recommend this program?
Answer: I like John Romaniello and his style of teaching and the workouts he does. I met him once and he seems like a nice guy and I know he has a good reputation. I like Final Phase Fat Loss and I think you will too. The workouts are intense but they’re fun as well. This program is endorsed by a lot of experts I respect and I believe it can help you get better fat loss results, especially if you need to get rid of that stubborn fat.
