5 Unconventional Workout Tips For Women

This post is for any woman who wants to get better and faster results from her workouts. I am going to share with you some unconventional workout tips for women that you probably don’t know about. Incorporate these and you will see a massive improvement in your fitness and fat loss results. Woman Lifting Weights

Lift Heavy

Many women I see in gyms are simply afraid to life heavy weights. They’ve been told or somehow got the impression that this will make their muscles too big. In fact, this couldn’t be more wrong and it is one of the most common exercise mistakes women make.

The truth is that most women simply don’t have the hormonal makeup required to grow big muscles. In addition, lifting heavy develops dense muscles and not bulgy ones. This is why women should lift heavy weights: it is better for developing a toned, tight body. In addition, lifting heavy will also create a more intense workout and burn more calories.

Work for Strength

I know you may be going to the gym in order to look hot. I have no problems with that. However, this is not really a measurable goal as it’s subjective. Each person has their own notion of beauty.

You may also judge your work by pounds or inches, but this can be hard to track on a workout-by-workout basis. I believe that working for strength is a much better way to measure fitness progress. When it comes to weight lifting, I see no better way.

When you work for strength you measure your progress by actual physical improvement. You don’t just try to look better, but to become fitter. When you do this you will also get a faster fat loss.

Do Guy Exercises

There are some exercises which seem to be for men and not for women. These include regular push-ups, pull ups, barbell presses, and so on. Many women simply don’t perform these exercises at all and it’s a shame because they are very effective. This is why guys love them.

Again, this is due to the myth that some exercises are simply not for women or that women can’t do them. You need to clear your mind of these myths and start working out with the most effective exercises, the kind that guys do. Overall, women should train more like men do. Guys generally do more intense workouts and these get results.

Stop The Toning Exercises

If you’re trying to do “toning exercises”, you should stop. You’re probably working for nothing. Toning exercises are those that are usually performed with low-medium weights and a high number of reps. Usually they focus on just one body part and they don’t really produce results.

To really change your body you need to stop worrying about toning this muscle or that. Just focus on intense workouts with big, multi-jointed fat burning exercises and you will lose fat and build firm muscles.

Don’t Be Afraid Of Muscle

Many women have a strange fear of adding muscle. Even a little bit seems to be a sign of the massive muscles that may come. There are a lot of benefits of muscles for women, including cosmetic and health related ones.

You don’t just want to burn fat. You want to get in shape. You want to have the right ratio between various body parts, like your shoulders, thighs, waist, etc. This means that you need to lose a little from some parts and add a little to others. The way to add a little mass is with muscle tissue. Don’t worry about becoming bulky. This is unlikely to happen. You’re just going to look much fitter.

As you can see, the workout tips for women that I shared here are not the sort of advice that women usually get. This is the point: women are often told to train in an ineffective manner. It’s time to change that and to start training correctly.

Here are some resources to do that:

1. The Venus Index program helps women get in the best shape.

2. The Flavilicious Fitness workout plan is a program for women who want to get very fit, lean, and still have a curvy, feminine figure.

Either of these two programs will help you get in awesome shape. They offer the sort of workouts that women should do. Enjoy.
