Venus Index Review – Does It Actually Work as Well As John Barban Claims

venus index cover The Venus Index is a fitness and nutrition plan designed for women only. The goal of the program is to get women into the most attractive shape possible: their Venus Index. The idea is that it is not some weight that you should be aiming for, but the best body shape.

This is different from the way most people think but it does make a lot of sense. After all, why should you care about pounds? You want to look your best, don’t you?

In fact, when you get to your optimal body shape, it means that you are also in a good position as measured by your weight. However, you can weigh very little and look frail and weak and unfeminine.

So, what the creators of the Venus Index, John Barban and Brad Pilon (both highly acclaimed nutrition and fitness experts), strive for is to get you to look your best, according to what research says is the most attractive female body shape in the eyes of most people. This is the Venus Index: and it’s determined by 3 ratios: Height/Waist, Shoulder width/Waist, Waist/Hips.

What Is the Venus Index Program

sexy woman in bikini The Venux Index is a 12 week workout plan. The focus of the workouts is on strength training. The workouts work your entire body and require the following equipment: a set of dumbbells, a stability ball and a workout bench (although you may be able to make do with a sofa). Each week you need to do 3 workouts.

The 12 weeks are divided into 3 workout manuals in which you learn about the exercises you need to do, how many repetitions you need to perform, and the rest time you should take between each set.

In addition to the workout plans, you also get a complete exercise library in which each exercise is shown and explained with pictures, video, and text so you can follow the program and do each exercise right.

The Venus Index workouts do require effort on your part but they are doable for women at any fitness level. You can be totally new to working out and still use the Venus Index workouts.

The workouts aim to not just help you burn fat, but to also build feminine lean muscle tissue to help you sculpt and reshape your body into the best shape it can be in, as closely as possible to the Venus Index.

The Eating Plan

woman doing cardio Unlike other fat loss plans which use a calorie centric eating routine, focusing either on the number or types of calories, the Venus Index plan use a Body – Centric eating plan. What this means is that the food you eat and the number of calories you consume are calculated according to your body: your height, measurements, weight. In this way, you can find the right eating formula for YOU, and not follow some general guidelines that may or may not be suitable for you.

You don’t need to give up eating out, or avoid your favorite foods, or cut down your calories too drastically. The eating plan can be adjusted to fit to your own eating lifestyle.

In Conclusion

The Venus Index is not your ordinary weight loss plan. It is a program for women who don’t just want to lose weight but to get the best body they can have. It does require you to make a true effort and to train hard. However, this is a program that can work for women of any age (18 and up) and at any fitness level. The purpose of the program is to get you to move closer to a perfect, feminine body shape.

I’ve gone over this program and I can tell you that it’s of high quality, without any fluff, teaches correct workout techniques and it can get you results. For more information, visit the Venus Index website and see for yourself.

Here is a video with a transformation contest for women who used the Venus Index program. The video has some annoying music, so watch it without sound:
