Yay Food Review

by Jonathan

A while ago, I was contacted by Rachel Rofe and was asked me to write a review of YayFood. I was given a username and free pass to check out the site and what it had to offer.

This review is the result of what I saw…

Yay Food Overview

Yay Food was created by Rachel Rofe, a former overweight woman who managed to lose over 100 pounds (According to her claims) when she discovered the right way to eat in order to shed pounds fast (she likes to call the process “release pounds”).

As someone who was overweight most of here life, Rachel Rofe tried numerous diet plans and programs but failed miserably with them all. After many failures, she decided to try her own version of calorie shifting to try to “release” pounds. She has indeed achieved remarkable results.

The Yay Food website and diet membership club is actually the method which she used herself. So this is a personal diet program made public.

You can read more of her story on this website: YayFood.com

Calorie Shifting

You may be familiar with this process: You start out with a fresh diet plan and at first everything is going great. You actually lose weight and feel good about yourself. Then, all of a sudden, the weight loss stops. It’s as if you can’t shed a single pound more.

Then, something even worse happens, you start to gain back the weight little by little. Before you know it, you’re right back where you started.

If you’ve been through that, you probably tried a deprivation diet, or, as I like to call them: low-something diets. In this group are the low calorie, low fat, low carb, etc. diets. All these diets deprive your body of something in the hopes that it will cause you to lose weight. You may succeed in the beginning, but you’re also slowing down your metabolism so that in the long run, your body is burning off fewer and fewer calories.

That’s why your weight loss slows to a grinding halt and eventually reverses.

You see, out metabolism is designed to protect us when it believes we’re starving. Our body doesn’t know we’re on a diet. As far as it is concerned, we’re simply not eating enough. The slower our metabolism is, the slower we burn fat.

This is where Calorie Shifting comes into play. By shifting your calories you can ‘fool’ your metabolism. Even though you’re dieting, your body will not know about it.

Now, Rachel Rofe didn’t discover this method. It was first used by the Fat Loss 4 Idiots diet.

Yay Food Membership

YayFood isn’t an ebook but a membership club. You get monthly access to a host of resources all designed to help you stick to the program and burn more fat, including:

Yay Food Pros and Cons

Pros:

  • A membership club so you have active support
  • You get access to a lot of resources
  • The membership fee is highly affordable
  • People get impressive results with this diet
  • There is a money back guarantee
  • You can try out Yay Food for just $4.95 for 30 days

Cons:

  • You pay a monthly fee and not a one time fee. This is just something you need to be aware of.
  • There isn’t enough of an emphasis on exercise

In Conclusion

Yay Food is a nice membership club and Rachel Rofe does a nice and dedicated job to try and make the most of it. This isn’t the most sophisticated or advanced program but it can work just because it’s very simple to use.
