The Shapeshifter Body Redesign program is a body transformation plan created by Adam Steer and Ryan Murdock, two fitness trainers who specialize in bodyweight workouts and training at home to lose body fat, build muscle, and enhance fitness.
The Shapeshifter P6 Body Redesign is a six week program with a specific goal: to change your shape or, to put it better, to get you into shape. This isn’t about weight loss alone.
Steer and Murdock state that while you can lose weight with a number of methods, you often end up with just a lighter version of your former self. You may lose weight, but your shape will remain virtually the same. The idea of the Shapeshifter plan is to lose fat and build muscle in a way which changes your proportions, or the ratio between your body parts. For instance, building broader shoulders and a slimmer waist. So, in this example, you add muscles to your shoulders and lose inches from your waist. Naturally, all your body is worked on in this plan.
In this review I want to go over what this program is all about, how it works, what it includes, and whether it is worth using. Here we go…
Shapeshifer P6 Body Redesign – 3 Spheres, 6 Parts
The Shapeshifter program is built around 3 pillars, which are called Spheres in the plan itself. What Adam Steer and Ryan Murdock claim is that you cannot achieve a true body transformation without combining these 3 spheres. The 3 Spheres are:
- Fitness.
- Nutrition.
- Lifestyle.
Each of these 3 Spheres is made up of 6 parts:
P6 Training |
P6 Nutrition |
P6 Lifestyle |
CardioFlow |
Appetite Normalization | Sleep |
Full Spectrum Strength Training |
Hormone Optimization | Active Lifestyle |
Afterburners | Food Choice Spectrum | Stress Relief |
Neuroboost Session |
Strategic Supplementation | Goal Setting |
Shapeshifter Stack |
Workout Nutrition | Personal Development |
Shapeshifter Regen | Digestive System Health | Relationships |
As you can see from the table above, the Shapeshifer Body Redesign program is an all-encompassing plan. It teaches how to create an inner and outer body and life transformation. Unlike many other weight loss plans, the idea here is to take a broad approach, one which states that it’s not enough to workout occasionally or eat a little less. You need to create a total life transformation and you will achieve a body transformation as well.
I approve of this approach because I believe that your lifestyle greatly affects your health and looks. Sleep, stress reduction, and correct eating habits are key factors in your health. You simply can’t get optimal results with workouts and nutrition alone.
During each day of the program, you’ll be given a set of steps from each Sphere. Everything is laid out in a step by step form. You just do the workout and apply the nutrition and lifestyle tips of the day, and that’s it. Pretty simple.
As I have experience with Adam Steer and Ryan Murdock’s previous work, I know that these are two experts which deliver results to people who use their programs. They provide quality information in the advanced nutrition and fitness topics they cover in Shapeshifter Body Redesign. It is the use of all these methods that gives this program its effectiveness.
Shapehifter Workouts
The workouts in the Shapeshifer P6 Body Redesign program are made up of circuits in which you do a number of bodyweight exercises in a row. The entire program is made up of bodyweight exercises which you can do at home without any equipment at all. The program does show exercise variations which you can do with workout bands, but these are optional.
The fact that you do bodyweight exercises is a big advantage. I love bodyweight workouts because they give you the freedom to train anywhere you happen to be without a gym or expensive equipment. This doesn’t mean that they’re less effective. In some cases, bodyweight training is better than regular lifting since it involves intricate movements, trains various body parts together, and is often better fitted for circuit workouts.
The Shapeshifter workouts are not easy and will likely be new to you. Some of the exercises will take getting used to. The workouts themselves are hard but do not take much time. You will be working your entire body with strength, endurance, flexibility, and movement exercises. This creates an extensive a full workout experience.
The workouts are all shown in video, and I was very impressed with the high quality production of these videos. It seems that Steer and Murdock placed a lot of emphasis on making Shapeshifter P6 a program that delivers high quality information in a pleasing and easy to follow way.
Here is an image I took from one of the videos. It shows Adam Steer performing a Bucket Drop (excellent exercise) with Ryan Murdock explaining.

- This is an extensive and complete program which provides a lot of value.
- Works for both men and women, of a variety of fitness levels.
- You can achieve a lot with this plan. I believe that you will be able to burn fat, add muscle (where you want to), and improve your health and fitness with this program.
- The workouts can be done at home and are short and energetic.
- The program is presented well with high quality videos and easy to understand and follow step by step guidelines.
Cons:
- Some of the nutrition guidelines advocate supplements which may prove costly. However, these are optional. You can do quite well with regular food.
- This is not a program which can help you build big muscles. Usually, bodyweight training simply isn’t right for massive muscle growth.
In Conclusion

It is a plan which takes a broad look on health, fitness, and body shape and gives you a holistic process by which to lose fat, build muscle, and change your body for the better.
